Q: When I first add a site to my “favorites” in IE6, the site has sometimes a little symbol next to its name instead of the
“e”. After a week or so in my favs, the indicator changes back to the website “e” 0.
Is there way to keep the correct symbol?
Anyone know what the hell I am talking about?

Hmm…. I guess I just never noticed. I only have a few bookmarks and those sites probably don't have fav-icons anyways.

Those icons are called favicons. I've heard about this problem before, but I use Firebird so it doesn't affect me.
I Googled for it and here's what I found:

It does affect you, and it affects mozilla users. Last I checked (a couple weeks ago), both moz & FB store favicons in cache just like everything else, and they get evicted when they expire / you clear the cache.
