Q: The graphics are great, but the art is simply missing. It feels like its just a new “non-professional third party” mod for Doom.
But Doom was much more thought out and comes together well. Prey is like . long corridors of the expectation, but nothing happens.
The color are good, although they rub the wrong way because they arnt really consistent between “hot, hot, hot” kinda noticed that people jump around.

D3 is true to the series, and convincing. u should at least try prey demo, or IDK ,, its definitly worth the "warez" if u absolutely don't intend on buying. But who knows maybe after playing it u'd want to play the multiplayer..

Prey is pretty well lit for the most part
I love doom 3 though, but prey was different with all the new stuff that came with it (gravity, portals, spirit ? ) . And I'm not afraid in the dark, although I have my share of spooks :laugh:
Yea, but the way the stuff comes together in Prey is kinda hackney for me, cuz i'm a proud Watcher of the Sci-Fi channel. the space-y bio mechanical feel was sooo already done in Lexx. if u know that show.
I guess it comes down to believeability, Doom 3 had a more solid base as in, "well this COULD happen, so it's more immersive and scarry." while Prey is Cool but, the whole time ur like ,, "OMG this could never happen."
Its like, why would they put portals into boxes, and make them confusing. Why the hell would they have these disorganized places where they breed BOMBs. what if an alien stepped on one of those critters.. I'm not overanylizing i'm just saying the core concept isn't solid.
