Oviously, Im looking for a T-bird 266Mhz FSB, so if someone knows where to get one, post a msg .
Anyways, lets talk about his mobo. The layout is different than the 1.03 revison. The difference is near the DIMM slots. There are only two slots, but you can only rev 1.04 to see a screen printing for third DIMM. The silkscreen on the fourth DIMM 1.03 revison is completely gone. In its place there are a multitude (many of them) of tiny chips, such as those we see on the top of the T-bird CPU .
The rest of the board is the same as the 1.03 rev . I can not check if there is a CPU multiplier unlock option in the BIOS because I have no CPU, but .

Now, some more stuff about the mobo… It came with the C-media sound PCI controller on board and withought the 3Com LAN controller. It's the exact opposite of what i wanted, but that's ok. The iPanel connector is alos available. In the box i alos found 2 IDE cables and a floppy one + 3 jumpers + a bracker with 2 more USB ports, the manual, CD-ROM, and that's it…

Re:Well, the manual is for revision 1.02 board that supposedly had the CPU multiplier change on the mobo itself through a set of DIP switches… Unfortunetly since revision 1.03, those DIP switches are GONE ! there is a silkscreen where they are supposed to be, but that's it… I know from www.xbitlabs.com that rev 1.03 had BIOS 1002 (the latest one on ASUS ftp) and it didn't have multiplier change in BIOS.(it was grayed out) Since i have the same BIOS, i expect the same thing…
Oh yeah, i bought the mobo from these guys : www.sid-dis.com it's canadian company in Canada, Quebec, that's y the page is in french) i payed it 237$ CAN + tax 15%… Excellent price if you ask me.

Re:Where did you get this board? Doesn't the manual tell about multiplier control? Asus manuals usually cover everything. I didn't even know these were available. Are there more where that came from?:)

Re:you can use any t-bird,but to be able to run it at 266 (133) the m.b. must have the ability to adjust the multiplier.
does it say anything about multiplier in the manuel?
