Q: This is what I got:
Linky (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820227210)
I ran both sticks together through memtest86 w / nothing
I ran a stick into the first slot and nothing, Windows restarts and was ok.
I ran the other stick and no errors, so I restart Windows and then BSoD. I am now in the process of testing this stick in the third slot.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Best Answer: As a gamer i'm sure you already know this but the graphics card is the most important part of a gaming pc. As long as this computer has a good graphics card then this computer should be great. I personally use asus computers and they are very well built and very reliable. Asus is the best gaming brand i know of, other than alienware, which is way overpriced and not nearly as reliable. The 8 gigs is really overkill but it will defiantly deliver. The i7 processors are the best of the best, and with the i7 720 you have a quad core. With 2.8 gigs per core (and i'm pretty sure it has turbo boost, but i'd have to check.) it is a beast of a processor. You won't need more than 500 gigs of ram for gaming, so that is fine. As far as the wire less upgrade i normally don't recommend them because the standard works fine, however since you will be constantly on the go and in places with no so great internet service i recommend it in your case. For 40 bucks it has the potential to save you a lot of hassle.
Contact me if you have any qustions. I'm sure i can answer them.
edit-Oh i found out that the computer comes with a geforce gt 335. That is a good graphics card, but if you are going to be doing heaving gaming and playing games like crysis i recommendd a nvidia 470 or an ati 5870 if you can get one of those instead. Good luck.
Re:You have either slots 1 & 3 or 2 & 4 to use with that RAM. My OCZ are in my 1 & 3 slots.
Re:If I run them in slots 3 & 4, then they won't be running in dual channel mode will they?
Re:With that mobo, try running them in slots 3 & 4 and then run memtest.
Re:I have the same RAM and they run terrific.
What's happening when you run them on your computer?
If quirky things happen, don't waste your time, RMA them.
