I need help installing SUSE Linux 9.1 [floppy disk image] [ntldr missing error]

Q: OK, so im getting the NTLDR missing im error

but think Im a bootdisk to bypass this.

I my SUSE Linux 9.1 on CD and a floppy to boot a disk.

The installation instructions to include: o start

Preparation

CD

to download the iso image boot / boot.iso and burning a CD with it.

o boot from the Download floppy

boot / boot disk and the module disk
files you need (and probably the least boot/modules1 network
modules boot/modules3) 0.

write the images to floppy disks using the dd command: dd if = 977 503 977 503 [path_to_image] of = / dev/fd0 bs = 36b

on non-Linux systems, use the utility rawrite dosutils/rawrite
the directory (RAWRITE.EXE) 0.

Installation

booting from a CD / floppy and to run the installation source bootpromt: 977 503 977 503 linux26 install = ftp://ftp_server/directory

Remember to substitute ftp_server and directory “appropriate
with values (eg install = ftp:// [IP address] / pub/suse/i386/9.1 youre
as installed from the SuSE FTP server), you can 0.
977 503 manual installation and configuration Network in
the installation program 0.

Could someone please interpret this gives step by step instructions to the boot floppy?

I have no experience with boot disks .

Re:Sounds like you didn't install GRUB. Just run the installation again and do the boot loader install again. You don't have to reinstall the system.

Re:NTLDR is the bootloader for Microsoft Windows. While you installed SuSE 9.1 did you configure the bootloader for it to be on the first sector of the drive (bootloader being LILO or GRUB) If not that is what you will have to do and the easiest way I know how to do it is to go through the installation process again and configure it that way.
