i . motherboard cpu and then just tried . led said the proccessor is not working or improperly installed . So checked it out . looked good so I put it back in. . oops arc one of the pins on my amd64 3500 + socket 939 . arghhhh . had to buy a new . I got it yesterday installed yesterday . no cheese So I did the same things all the troubleshooting guides tell cmos reset various combinations of components do . still no swiss . Im either going to run out of money, I have to start with some strong drugs before I lose my mind . I have frequently these message boards, and others and have read that cheap power supplies are ussually the hidden culprit in many cases . Well I think I have the lil fer, Im a newb at this building when I chose my components, I paid no point in the PSU . Me use the one that came with my cheap case . Will a pink housing with a 400 watt power supply . beautiful thing, but I think a matte ratehr psu . Re:Yeah i tried it with a more reliable psu from my friend an aspire piano black 400 watt… but still nothing… only the fans spin…and still says proccessor not working…. i think what happened was that the psu blew the 4 pin 12 volt connection on my motherboard…. does this sound right??
Re:or the motherboard could be bad….
Re:I think it definitely could pose a problem. yes
I would recommend swapping another PSU into the system (see if you can borrow one).. a GOOD one of course, and see if that helps.
