Q: PIC (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v120/guy/why.jpg)
why is this happening?
Does something to do with Active X? java?
It happens to me on other websites too.
to solution to the problem, I can right click and show pictures, they are all loaded. Its annoying.
Re:yes it always happens with the smaller images!
Im running XP PRO SP2 with symantic antivirus and the SP2 firewall is actived.
I cleared the cache and everything appears to be working fine now. Ill report back if I come across the problem again. Thanks guys
okay it happend again
, that was quick.. I should have knocked on wood.
PS: im running a cable connection. If it matters.
Re:Do you have a software firewall running (ie Norton Personal Firewall)? I've had similar problems when I used that software in the past.
Re:This problem relates to a well known bug. Once the cache for Temporary Internet files gets full, IE stops dealing with GIFs and only saves them as BMPs. For animations – this doesn't work. The solution is always to delete all temp Internet files, i.e,, clear the cache as has been said.

I've seen it before in IE many times… It only seems to happen with small images. I stopped using IE, and it went away. That was the only way I found to fix it.
Yeah, IE did that for me all the time on the forums too. Sometimes hitting Refresh would do it, sometimes not. I switched almost completely to Firefox, though I still use IE for pages with a lot of info to be filled out. I don't know of any match in Firefox to Google's Autofill feature in their toolbar.
Firefox is missing a few features that IE has, but other than that, it's quite good.
