Q: Im already accustomed to using Windows Media Player 6.4, and when I upgrade to WinXP, the new Windows Media Player 7 really bothers me. The slow, even though my system is a P4 2GHz 256 MB of RDRAM. So I downloaded WMP 6.4 and did an install of Windows 95 compatibility mode is selected, and it seems not to install . It always comes up with the error “Error loading W95inf32.dll” . Is there a way I can force the installation of WMP 6.4 system? I know 6.4 works because Ive already installed, and now suddenly there is this error when I tried to do a reinstallation .
