Q: The original Sims was amazing fun when I was younger. I havent played it forever, but Sims 2 should be just as good if not better and was very time consuming game.
anyone lookin forward to it?

Best Answer: okay, for the game itself, you will need to reinstall with the CD. This is necessary because the game implements some pretty aggrivating anti-piracy stuff. For the files (like the houses, saved games and what-not) it easiest to do so while the game is still running. There is a package option while on the map that allows you to package families, houses, or whatever is in the saved game into a program that can be run on another computer with the Sims and then allow you to reload the save game. Otherwise, you might look up the location where Sims saves it's games and see if you can copy those files. You can also just download premade stuff from some websites, but they may make you register first (usually free).

Good luck!
(Copying files may also duplicate neighborhoods and such, as I've found out before)

Re:Not until they release the "Most Dangerous Game" hunting expansion pack.
Re:Absolutely. It's a fun game. I'm in a betting pool for how many expansions will be released for the sequel.
My money is on 19, not including the originals that are converted to the new engine.
