Re:I haven't extensively tested QTA 1.7 and 1.71 beta yet, but here are some early results:
-Both 1.71B1 and 1.7 seem to have problems with the seek bar with a certain .mov file (9.8MB file from IGN) when using WMP10. However, MPC6.x's seekbar works just fine all the time.
-(When using 1.71B1) I tried opening a 1.36GB .mov file with WMP10 and everything worked fine (including the seekbar). When trying to open the file with MPC6.x, I get the message "Failed to render the file".
-(When using 1.71B1) All my Terry Tate .mov files worked fully (including seekbar) on both WMP10 and MPC6.x.
I'm quite happy with 1.71B1 so far and would like to thank HN again for the links. I consider these two a must have since I really don't like QT and especially Real.

Re:Nice…those two links work with WMP10. The .rmvb files work perfectly while the seek bar for .mov doesn't work. However everything works perfectly with MPC. Thanks HN, I really appreciate the help!
edit: If you install the 1.7 version of Quicktime Alternative instead of the 1.71 beta1 you can use the seek bar.
