Q: For some reason, spysweeper shows it as a trojan and asks to remove it. I got it from a reputable site, so twice, one from another reputable site, and are the same. No other scanners besides spysweeper show that if a trojan.

Re:The media wouldn't make any difference to the type of modified Exe file that is used when a user prefers to put disks away, and/or has too many competing activities that all want their optical disk in the drive, until you get nutty from all the swapping. I will be using whatever file comes out when it is available, even if it is a mis-named "No-xx-Exe".
Meanwhile, it wouldn't make any difference if I had the "Fixed Exe" or not. So far Oblivion is just doing a fast CTD at the moment when a "New Game" ends its circle around the castle and attempts to pass through the door into the prison tower — just prior to generating a character.
(Added in Edit later: the new Forceware 84.25 Beta Level Drivers turned the trick and cured the CTD.)

So a guy doesn't want to have to put the disc in his drive to play (I never do either) and he's branded a pirate?
just use Nero and make a BACK-UP disk. . . . you can put your original DVD away as i did.
[the Oblivion EULA allows a "backup copy for archival purposes".

Well, since this game has no protection and allows the DVD to be copied, that shouldn't be too much of a problem.
