Q: Hi I have 977,503 in computer technology for over a year now and trying to get back into it.
I just a Lite On SOHW-812S Combo model that DVD-R and DVD + R. It came with Sonic MyDVD makes software.
Is it possible to backup movies with this drive, and with this software. If not, what software do I need and where do I get it and what the media would be the best one backup movies.

Re:DVDShrink is great but sometimes the compression % required is too steep. DVDFab is great in this case and allows you to split the DVD into 2 discs for perfect copy without compression loss.
