Q: Ive noticed that Kazaa is no longer downloading a file from multiple people to speed things up. Anyone else notice this? This may explain why my downloads now seem good. Evern if I right click on the file that is downaloading and choose “find more sources to download” it does nothing. I have 40 files like movies, ranging from music to programs or download at 1kb / s or no downloading for days.

Re:I have been using KazaaLite for the last week with good results. I have had up to 3 sources downloading at one time. Occasionally I have had speeds of up to 45Kbp/s usually it has been 1-12. Right now I have a one source d/l and a 2 source d/l. All in all, I have been quite pleased with the Lite version posted in the Hot Deal forum.

Re:my kazaa d/ls from multiple people. It just needs the sources, so if they're not on and only 1 happens to be on, click "resume" on all of them and they might find more sources. It definately d/ls more than 1 at once.

I keep Kazaa running pretty much 24/7 and I've haven't seen it download a file from multiple people in days, maybe even weeks. >>
Same thing here. I decided to uninstall it. 2 gigs of 1/2 completed files are wotrhless to me and I don't feel like leaving my computer on all day and getting 10k worth of downloads for all that.
I'll wait for the next Morpheus or maybe try WinMX for smaller files, but that's it. Good thing I have AG for music!

Re:Now that you're mentioning it, I think that Grokster (which is what I'm using at the moment) does the same thing. I haven't seen it download from more than one source at the same time for a while…
I still get reasonable speeds, though (6+ kbps minimum).
