Q: It is, IDK, about 5 months since BF2 was released and with this poll, well see how many people still have problems.

They just don't play BF2 enopugh. If they really play it, they will accept the FACT that there are problems. They have to play it more, there just noobs. I could name 30 issues and they have probably encountered more than half.
Hardly a noob…. been playing since just about the beginning. 320 hours total, and I have only experienced the problem where you see teammates with red tags ONCE. And i have crashed to the desktop ONCE.
I know many others who haven't had any problems either and have played more than me.
OH and I use Xfire also, so the in-game browser doesn't matter.

I pre-ordered the game and have played it since day 1. The first issue is very rare and the second is hardly an issue. Most games have worse problems.
Re:Ther POS server browser is a problem itself. It's garbage. Then there is the C4 glitch, AA, red name tag, Crash to Desktop, and soo much more i can't think right now.
Re:I've run into one show-stopper technical problem, since getting the game around the time it came out. This was with a recent punkbuster update that caused my system to lock up, usually shortly after I had entered a map. A manual install of Punkbuster fixed this.
Is the game free of all bugs and annoyances? No, but they don't outweigh how much fun I have while playing. Even with the somewhat limited number of maps available, I haven't reached the point of being bored with them.
Will I get the new expansion, probably not, at least not right away. I don't see anything in it that seems all the interesting. I'm still hoping that some one will come out with a mod that will be a better add-on to the game than this expansion seems to offer.

I haven't had a single problem yet and love the game.
I have played a little over 150 hours since I bought the game and have had maybe 2 or 3 problems. I really don't understand how so many people are having so many problems.
Re:Still unable to connect to any internet games so far. Kept getting stuck for ages while connecting and had to reboot as it won't allow me to switch over to task manager. AFAIK my firewalls are not blocking, so I guess it's a server side problem. It's been several days now and my patience is running thin.
Re:Well I play quite often, and after thinking about it I do remember one time where a teamate had red tags. I left that server, and have never seen the problem again. Figured it was a server problem vice a BF2 problem.
Other than that I can't think of anything that has been truly wrong with the game.
Please list some of these 30 or so issues. I guess it's very possible there have been more problems that have just gone unnoticed by me. But I can defintiely say I have yet to ever have trouble getting the game to start or join an online game. I have been kicked by punkbuster a few times for whatever reason, but that is not EA.

It's been 5 months since release, and no, I've never had one issue with playing BF2 online when I wanted to.
Re:I don't have any problems in game. But with the newest patches the maps are taking a lot longer to load than they used to. Don't know why, but defragging didn't help either.

Re:The mislabeling is rare and can be fixed by simply reconnecting. That is probably the only problem I ever had and it only happened twice, no big deal to me. At least the game works fine!
Re:The mislabeling of friendly/enemy troops, happens when i get team-switched in the same game, resolves after the end of the round.
Heard rumors of a hack that allows 2 commanders/team no recharge time for artillery and supply crates, that must be a boring hell to get hit every few seconds by artillery.
Lately ther's been ads by EA for the new expansion pack, everytime it reminds me how people said on many BF2 relted forums that they wouldn't buy the expansion for an unpatched game. 1.1 seems to have done the trick

Re:I'd have to say that I have not had one problem with BF2. Actually, that's not completely true, but the one problem that I did have was my fault and not EA's. And I do feel that BF2's multiplayer options are up to par. I have no problem with them, but I know that there are people that do. Each to his own I guess.
