Q: I hate Outlook Express and I do not use nutscrape aggrivator .
I use Eudora Light for e-mail. I love it because its nice and simple it does email and nothing else, but not trying to be a Swiss army knife, its an e-mail program, nothing more, nothing less, it is perfect (its also free
) 0.
I am looking for something in the same direction for a newsgroup reader, just something small and simple, that runs on Win98SE/2k and knows how to read newsgroups from a news server specificied and not something else. I do not want it on my schedule appointments for me, check my e-mail, a mini-browser built in to browse news while Im grouping, I do not want to shave me or my cooking . I want to newsgroups . nice and simple . read many buttons aggrivate me: D (truth is I just do not want useless bloatware) 0.
Anwyays, anyone suggestions? Preferably free . but should not be .
Re:Agent (http://www.forteinc.com/) isn't lite, but in a default "keep nothing" configuration, it isn't that bad. The contents of my \Agent directory minus the \Data directory where the porn^H^H^H^Hdownloads are kept is just under 3 Mb. I'd say it's worth a shot.
Re:hehe thanx for the suggestiosn
Re:try xnews (http://xnews.3dnews.net)
