Cant decide what to add to my system, I am thinking of Adding more RAM, DVD player, or one of those SB Audigy w / the internal drive and I remoteor a new Mobo, so I can OC my TBIRD.
What do you think would be a good upgrade? Houston is probably going to
she Frys would be a good place for her to be.
Re:The answer is clear!!! That is, it's clear if you're a gamer… and I can't imagine you'd need or even consider an upgrade unless you were. Also, I'm assuming you've already got a good monitor. NOTHING enhances the computing experience like a 21" flatscreen Trinitron or something like it. So assuming all the aforementioned, it's what the Mr Meatball said: you need a high end surround sound speaker system. I once had multimedia speakers that rivaled my regular home surround system (15 inch woofers) for loudness and quality (it was the Altec Lansing ADA890, if I recall correctly, but it's not compatible with SBL cards). And the surround effects you get with EAX in a lot of games is VERY cool. Like they said in Animal Farm (the book, not the farm) "Three speakers good, six speakers better!".
BTW, some things less exciting but much cheaper if you don't have them:
If all you have is a bundled dog of a printer, get the Lexmark Z52 from Costco. It's real fast, has excellent quality, comes with the Costco guarantee and is only $70! I paid $230 at Costco for the Z51 about two years ago. Also, a scanner might be nice. It's one of those things you don't think you need till you get one. Comes in real handy when you don't want to make a twenty minute trip to Kinkos for a single copy of something.

Re:no computer upgrade u listed since you have decent ram, you're sound card is decent unless you are a super audiophile, u lived without a dvd drive this long and its much comfortable to watch a dvd on a couch on a tv, and you're already part of the gigaherz club so no need to really OC your cpu.
