Q: Windows XP Pro I just preordered from Staples and I got a free tutorial XP and McAfee QuickClean 2.0, Designed for Windows XP. Is QuickClean or a similar utility items such as Norton CleanSweep good? Frankley I think not. I would like some feedback. Thanks!
Re:Well I guess you're missing the question. I don't own, and never owned an Uninstall program or something like that. I just happened to get this QuickClean for free, and I'm trying to decide if I should just sell it and make $15 or so, or open it and use it. Thanks for the input mem!
Re:Cleansweep as always been pretty good so stick with that.
Re:Thanks. Anyone else? I think I"m just gonna sell it
Re:I don't think that Quickclean is as good as Cleansweep. I don't know about XP's Add/Remove programs, but that feature in all previous Windows versions is pathetic compared to Cleansweep when it comes to removing related registry entries. Cleansweep 2002 is very thorough and also removes desktop icons which Add/Remove doesn't even see.
