Q: I was with Win98, but have some major problems such as crash . Now Im in Win2k, but my monitor will not accept the resolution of 1024×768, and it is installed, does anyone know where I can monitor IBM 2113-003 driver for Win2k, I have already tryed IBM drivers list, and Windows Update . Oh . and the full 1024 resolution were working in Win98 .

Re:Well… i've tryed the ViewSonic 15E, and de IBM 8514… the same problem… do i have to put it in 1024×768 80hz and then put in 60? cause, nothing is working here =(

It will do 1024×768 at 87Hz Interlaced (43Hz) only. Basically the 8514/A spec (which never was very good)
Re:it might be your monitor is not plug and play, and you're not seeing the correct choices… choose a high end monitor … something like Viewsonic 15E or something …and then you'll see a wide range of choices … be carefully you don't pick a choice higher than you know your monitor can actually use, or you risk damaging your monitor …
i mean, choose a high end monitor in the Display Settings of win2000 …
Re:i've allready tryed to slow down the refresh rate, but don't have any option to be slower than 60hz… ibm stinks… poor monitors too =( i gotta buy my new pc
Re:Lower the refresh rate. Win2k may be defaulting to 75Hz while Win98 defaulted to 60. It may even only support the 43Hz interlaced (not likely)
