Q: using a sony g420 19 “monitor with a Radeon 7000 AGP W2K. Both the monitor and card installed in my device manager. When I change from 60Hz to 100Hz is still blinking, like its still on 60Hz when he tells her to 100Hz.
i had this problem before with my 15 “monitor and my gf2mx, and then my 7000.
i removed before the previous driver, I installed another card. the only card that does not flash my ti4200 and thats in the repair at this time.

Re:I have had this problem before.
I am guessing you are changing the refresh rate under the monitor tab correct? Well if its an ATI card click on the attributes tab and change it there. That should fix you up.
