Need help configuring Azureus [static ip] [isp]

Q: Ive tried the tut on portforward.com, but I have a with my , so I do not know what it is. Someone please help me forward some ports.

Best Answer: Had the same problem with azureus and I did try to follow some instructions they gave me in a forum, like making sure the firewall wasn't blocking it etc. After I followed the instructions it still didn't do any better so I got rid of it and got Limewire. It's the best for file sharing out there and it doesn't slow down your computer as much.

Re:Yes, but I don't think most home routers will actually change the ports in NAT forwarding. If you have to put two numbers in, it's probably a range.

Re:Oh, i didnt know that server ip meant my machines ip. Thanks though. Do i forward the azureus port to the same port then?

What do I type for server ip in the portforward settings for azureus?

In your router settings page? The IP address of your machine. If you don't know it, open up the Command Prompt (I'm assuming you're using Windows) and type "ipconfig". It will give you your IP address.

Re:Go to the Options menu in Azureus (I think it's under Tools) and see what port Azureus is using. Then log into your router and go to the Port Forwarding section. Type in your IP address and the port number you found in Azureus. Make sure the port is forwarded for TPC and UDP traffic. Save settings, that should be it. Then I think you can check in Azureus somewhere if ports are correctly forwarded.

And 40 minutes is way too early for a bump ;)
