Q: Just the HSF in the mail, but I do not understand how it is possible to install it with my mobo (DFI Nf4 Ultra-D).
The way the fan is suppose face (blow on the back) air, the clips are not entirely consistent with the retention clips on my board (it is vertical and not horizontal, so the clips on the HSF should be rotated to another side which is impossible) . so how do I lock it? Is there a different retention module I need to? Cuz I can not flip around a is now . would

Cuz in the instructions they say it would blow to the back, not up.

but i don't understand, i can't even remove the "u shaped" clip. i'd have to bend it to slide it out.
I think i'll just point the fan upwards :/ it'll cool well anyway. but i liked the idea of having the hot air blow out. I think i might have gotten one of the older HSF that can only turn 180 degrees and not 90.

Re:i don't understand how i can use the bracket the other way.. it's much longer than the width of the HSF the other way. how do i latch the bracket on the HSF the other way?

Re:piece of cake! the black lever tha tyou flip to lock the hsf down has a screw in it. remove the screw and remember how the assembly goes together. it's very easy. after removing the screw, the lever and clip fall away from the bracket. pull teh silver bracket thru the heatpipes, rotate it, and inster the bracket back thru the heatpipes so it is blowing in the direction you desire. re-assemble the clip assembly and you're done. the complete process amy take you two minutes. have a great day!

Re:There is a screw on the clip. If you open that screw, you can dismantle the clip assembly and put it back together after rotating it 90 degrees.
