A computer is a laptop with Windows 2000 and computer B is a desktop with Windows 2000 and. Heres the problem. I hooked the router to both computers. both computers have Internet access, which works great. A computer can see computer B If I were in my network, but computer B can not computer A. monitor the router itself in the port A computer is connected to the local LED acct is not at all. The computer port B is connected to the local acct LED lights and green. I figure the cables are ok, because both computers on the Internet can use, but after searching NETGEARs site and I can not find, nor can I think of a solution to this problem, so Im turning to you for help. let me know if more information is needed and I will take care of. Thanks to anyone who can help. We are obviously in a very non-computer related issues, so the firm is counting on me to do. thanks again.

Re:file/print sharing must be enabled on a computer for it to be seen on the network… the one that cannot be seen probably can't see itself either… if that is the case you have to go in and add the MS file/print sharing protocols

Re:This is a common situation that occurs a lot of time. When using Hardware Router, each computer can use the Internet independently, but you don?t really have a network, and in most cases, it has nothing to do with the Hardware. My suggestion, forget about the Internet for few hours, actually disconnect your WAN input, and go over all the setting (especially over the sharing, and user accounts, etc.) and make sure that you have a Network. Once you have a Network connect back the WAN, and have a good time.

If ypu need some pointers log here, and look for Win2000 parts.
