Q: I have NIS 2003 and it kills the pop-up window for me a message or reply. Is there a way I can accept to AnandTech without killing NOS every time I want a message?

Yes, the source of your problem is in ad blocking. You don't have to turn it completely off; go into ad blockings configuration and uncheck the "turn on popup window blocking" box. I have also found that the Google toolbar popup blocker worked much better than Norton anyway (and dosn't interfere with the new java message boxes).

Re:Well for me I have to turn of NIS and open a new browser before I can post something. If I turn off NIS before opening a browser then everything works just fine. Any ideas?
I'm positive its NIS, this has happened to me once before and the tech support guy from the site told me to turn off any pop up killers that I might be running, which for me is NIS. Ordinarilly I don't care but its becoming a nuisance for me with anandtech
