Re:i dont think it need power, the end lokos to be burnt so, ima need to find another one, hopely today

Re:if your video card has a power connector on it, did you plug it in?

Re:it was the card becuse it makes no beeps without it in but i cant see anything

Re:if you have more then one bank of ram. Remove both and try one bank at a time.
As the video card, pull it out and sit it back in and make sure its all the way in.

Re:I have run into more bad RAM than VGA cards in the past, although it could be anything.
Do you have some more RAM to try?

Re:still doesnt work, i hink it may be a bad AGP video card, ill find out when i find a card

Re:ok, ill check but i dont recal seeing it

Re:guy is right, in your mother board manual it will have a decoder list of what the beeps mean.

Re:its a socket 478
its a cheap mobo with no on-board video, cps a 2.8c, the board does support it, i have put in ram, hd, and everything else, even double checked the wires, still beeps

Re:Does your motherboard manual have a table of beep codes? Could you post a summary of your system's specifications?
