Now on the button, memory advice [types of memory] [heatspreader]

Q: What is the Différance between these two ? Is it just the heat spreader? but the organization. See links

2 (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA u0026 submit = = Go u0026 description = N82E16820145416)

if it is only the , I will buy one on the shares, but differant organization and this worries me. what is the possible Différance? should I wait?

Best Answer: You can buy a Windows laptop that is just as solid (or better since Windows has a much better selection of video cards) for about half price of an overpriced Mac

As for antivirus, simply use free Avira or Avast. They work near perfectly. I've had a Mac before, they are a waste of money for an inferior machine. As long as you maintain a laptop, and are careful with it, it won't matter which brand it is, meaning Windows or Apple

Something like this for only $1100 will crush any Macbook in the line, even those over $2000

I have no clue what you mean by "the organization" but it looks like the only thing different on those two modules
is the heat spreader material/color

Hey sweety, there are compatible issues with certain boards and corsair ram, maybe do a little research before you speeeeek
HiYa Toots!

It takes no research to notice when a post offers NO information…. just a pompus slab of white space…..
research…..? my studies show trolls need to be homeward bound.

isn't it about your naptime?

Please respond with why this post was needed here and not responded to as a PM before complaining about asking for more information being a "waste of white space". Not all posts need to be directed at the questions to help along the way.

To answer the original question (knowing it's a dual channel nforce2 mobo): the posted numbers aXb indicate that they're using a different number of different size memory chips to get the total value of the ram. This means the modules are being produced from different start materials, maybe even different times/locations. As your motherboard is a dual channel, I would not recommend mixing those two modules (if that's what you're planning). If you're planning on buying one now and getting another later, you should probably get the one with the fewer number of chips as the memory makers seem to always update to larger chips…. 64Mx64 seems like a typo though, I would be expecting 64Mx8 (http://www.cs.umbc.edu/~plusquel/310/slides/8086_memory1.html), but I'm not a memory expert. Heatspreaders are usually considered useless except for the most aggressive overclockers, and even then I haven't heard anyone say they got a real increase after adding heatspreaders.

To use dual channel memory correctly, the modules have to have matched chip sizes (64M) and bank numbers (8), as well as matched timings (no bumping PC2100 up to a PC3200 module…. not that you were planning on doing that).

Sorry for the corsair question, but do a search and you'll see about a dozen or more threads a day about corsair and the new intel chipsets. Being a victim of a bad PC3200LL decision, I was trying to look out for that.

Re:Organization 64M x 64 on PC-3200C2PT
Organization 32MX8 on PC-3200C2
that and the heat spreader are differances, is there any other differances, and does the organization have anything to do with it?

btw Asus a7n8x Deluxe
