Re:I have used the artic silver thermal epoxy. It does a good job and can be made semi permanent by adding to the epoxy mixture. When gluing on the hs make sure that you install the chip first. I found out the hard way that you can not close the lever to tighten the chip once the hs is glued on. Also the socket 370-2 64mm fan uses the large tab to the side if it is the tab with another larger tab next to it. This also worked well but was tough to install and the clip had to be sprung somewhat so that it would go on the k6-2. Even though I glued the hs on with epoxy the first time at full strength it came off easily (not that it would fall off) by seperating it witha screwdriver. This popped my chip off which flew through the air and then bent two pins on the chip. After straightening the pins installing and then glueing the fan it runs a comfortable 86 F. HTH
