Q: I can either go with my old version of MS Office, or I can go with the new version of OpenOffice. Or could install both, but Ill probably end up with one and stick with it. OO is good enough, or at least better than my old version of MS Office?
Re:i would imagine that the latest OO would be more compatible with today's stuff than Office97.
even if it runs slower than 97, I would probably use OO over it.

Re:i'm using OO from ms office 03. its quite worth the switch over imo. try oo for a bit and give it a go. you'll like it.
