Q: I have a few questions about NTFS. I never really used in the past. Im just starting to experiment with her. Im probably an outdated version of Symantec Ghost and when I try a disk with an NTFS partition even open the program crashes. Would a newer version of Ghost (which is included with System Works 2002) works with NTFS partitons?
Also, how big an NTFS partition to Win XP Pro to read? I know it is only a 32GB FAT32 partition approach. Is the same true for NTFS?

Q: I downloaded it yesterday, have it runs fine. I just want to beef up the resolution 1024 x 768 to see how looks.

Q: I am sure this is the thread for this post?
TO my knoweldge this disk is formatted, but I guess I was wrong? To use the startup files for win2k AS house. It was placed in a computer running win2k pro disk access which was fine, the previous files deleted and new files added to the disk without a problem. When I put it in my XP Pro machine it tells me the disk is not formatted and asks if I want. I tried to access it from another win2k pro comp, but it does the same. I do not have access

Q: What happened to the supposed price cuts in Intel chips? I hope they go down, or I shouldnt have canceled my order a week ago. Newegg actually raised its prices . wtf?

Q: What do you use a firewall? What settings, what software? Do you use an extra old PC lying around and install linux on, and leave it as a firewall server? Anyone but a router and firewall settings as a? Do you lock every door that you are not down to use a router?
Just a thread to let others know how each of us exhibits a firewall of our own.
Personally I just use the router defaults SPI and NAT and I have ZoneAlarm installed.

Q: Trying to install Win XP on a HP Pavilion 7955. Put the new HDD in a week or so ago, and OS setup Preloads everything, and proceeds to walk all the way through to where it is detecting the hard drive. I get where is shows the hard disk, but underneath it I get the following:
39 203 MB Disk 0 AT ID 0 on bus 0 on ATAPI.
(Setup can not access this disk)
I press enter and then get a BSOD , I can not heads or tails out of the information

Q: I just built my system – K8NE Deluxe with Antec Sonata case, however, the front USB ports do not work. I used the plug at the front of the case comes to the USB header 56 and the front of the USB ports will not work if I plug into the USB 78 to the rear and front panel ports does not work header ? Q: Basically I am wondering how good / bad the quality of this monitor (and the 20 “version). I wonder how it compares to the Samsung 226BW, Im sure the Samsung looks better, but how many is the difference? Also, the cheaper varieties, such as Chimei and AOC to compare with this LCD. Has the larger gap between the Samsung or the cheaper monitors?

Q: I have a small 3 machine network. All computers are brand new from the box.
Server – Win2k Server (do not ask why. Thats what they wanted) – static address NetBOIS over TCP / IP enabled
PC1 – WinXP Pro DHCP address NetBOIS over TCP / IP enabled
PC2 – WinXP Pro DHCP address with NetBOIS over TCP / IP connected to an unmanaged enabled
All switch.
PC1 and the server can see each other fine.
PC2 just can not see anything and nothing can open. They can see
