Please help me get rid of the annoying URL redirection Lop.com [grateful thanks] [browser ie]

Q: Im not sure if any of you have come across this problem before, but lately I notice that when my browser (IE 6) unsuccessfully charges each site would be redirected to http://www.lop.com/ dnserror. cgi? s = http://www.sydneyu.edu/. I can not remember what I could have done to it to activate. Anyway, if anyone of you can help me solve this problem, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Re:These sorts of exploits make me more and more browse with JavaScript, ActiveX and all other web scripting languages turned off..granted that this yields a pretty constrained browsing experience when visiting websites that make heavy use of these languages, I can at least be sure that my browser doesn't get all screwed up..Regards

Re:Yup same thing happened to me, I think it was because I said yes to one of those this website is going to do something to your comp do you want it to.

You need to edit the registry to fix it to have it go back to the miscrosoft search engine, I'll try to find the website that told me how to do it.
