Q: XP Pro, 512 MB, AMD Athlon 2600 + 17 “CRT. I have a VisionTek 9250 AGP graphics card (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814129045) would PNY GeForce 6200 AGP (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product. asp? item = N82E16814133149) for $ 35 after rebate a worthy upgrade? Im really not much game, but I thought it looked nice and smooth Far Cry played on my 9250. I am most concerned if this card is displayed in Google Earth a lot faster than my 9250, or is completing the close-ups depending on CPU?
TIA
Re:I would probably go for something a little bit better myself, any nice 9×00 8 pipe card will give you a lot more bang for your buck.

Re:64 bit memory interface means its ram speed is really 250mhz. It'll be faster than the 9250 card but you'll probably be better off getting 9700, 9700Pro or 9800Pro used if you consider upgrading for some improvements.
I think the 6200 card can be overclocked though or perhaps unlocked to 6600? Not sure
If you find your card adequate though it's probably not worthwhile to spend more money.
Re:google earth is probably cpu, not gpu. the 6200 is a nice card for the $$ though.
Re:That's PCIexpress, I need a cheap AGP.
