I 3-5 torrents downloading at once.
Im usually around 60kb dl/40 ul TOTAL
I have a belkin router. I port fowarded the Bit Comet and port fowarded the default Bit Torrent ports. I fowarded them only to the TCP-IP address of the UDP system.

Yeah I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to those other people who are using BT. I.e. setting your BT traffic to use non standard ports should increase your ability to receive packets from others who cannot transmit on non standard ports. Which should then increase your download speeds.

Re:Yeah, dont use the standard BT ports. Many sysadmins have blocked them. Change them both in the BT setup and in the forward setup. Make sure they match. If your versions of BT clients dont let you do this, get new versions or differant ones.
And yeah, BT is TCP only, no need for UDP.
Re:Running xp. Windows firewall has always been disabled.
Re:Are you running XP? If so, check the built-in firewall. If the firewall is blocking connections, Bit Torrent will sense that you can not receive incoming requests for connections and will be allowed less bandwidth for downloads.
