Re:Sure, I don't see why it would not be possible. Take it apart and find the model number on the LCD, you don't have much to lose. Then search the model number or other identifying marks and see if you can order another of the same type/model. If the LCD is connected by dozens of surface mount pads, it might be hard/impossible to replace without expensive equipment. If it is connected by a pins/headers, it should be more of a snap.
