Possible to connect via WiFi and Ethernet at the same time? [system internet] [wifi]

Q: I am looking for a PC via USB connection to a router thats is one floor higher, while also connected to another router next to the PC. The router next to the PC, the system would access the Internet, while the router over the system would access the NAS, and various other items (above the router but no Internet connection) 0.

Is this possible?

Thanks show!

Best Answer: 1) Add the MAC of the Mac into the allowed addresses for that switch port
2) You could use Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) on the Windows PC, and connect to the Mac through another ethernet interface (if possible) or a ad-hoc network. ICS uses NAT from the Windows box, so data for both connections will appear as to originate from the windows IP/MAC address.

I didnt think this is possible. wont the PC have 2 different default gateways if it's connected to 2 routers?

It's possible. You can only have one default gateway so you have to manipulate the routing table on the PC. If the wireless is only a single subnet then no manipulation is needed.

No.

eh…yes, it is…unless I read the OP's mind incorrectly, and he meant connect to a router with the SAME USB adapter right next to him… I assumed Wireless to upstairs, wired to the router next to him.
