Q: PC was good for the month . There is nothing added to that of a sudden months
All at x: xx hours, the PC into a mode where the mouse isnt detected and blank screen.
Rebooted the PC, and is halfway boot WinXP and reboot itself. Its a cycle and it will restart over and over.
Any ideas or suggestions? I am currently running a scan disk to check for bad clusters.

Re:ran scandisk, found 1 bad sector, i guess that causes the problem… and that one bad sector probably has important windows files on it

ya i'll do the repair install thing and see how it goes.

Re:Hi, I had that happen too, but my mouse was working before it rebooted. I noticed my computer rebooting itself on occassions, but after more time passed, i noticed that it became more frequent. Finally after a few more weeks the computer rebooted and then was never able to come back into windows. I tried everything to get it to come back but unfortunately I had to format and reinstall windows. Up to this day I have no clue what could have caused this to happen. I suspected viruses or trojans, etc but my system has antivirus going and I don't go to questionable qebsites or downlod anything that I don't check first to see what it is or what it may contain.
