Problem with slow transfer rate with MSN [router firewall] [wirelessly]

Q: Ok here is the situation

I my PC and my internet connection on my laptop gfriend, wireless.Im not wireless and it is . pass threw my router d-link.I shoot my connection with my hair .

All firewall off.All her off.And firewall disabled too.And things when we transfer with MSN, we have very slow xfer rate and warning that tells us to slow xfer rate. If we take the option that is supposed to tell us what to do to help us with that problem, we got an error message from the Microsoft page . duh! I think the problem is not on my part because I can very quickly xfer with MSN with my friends.

Im complete noob with this wireless router things. All I can tell you is that I have an ASCII WEP encryption to protect myself got. and my SSID is disabled. her perfectly PC to receive my connection and they can download and upload as fast as I use a speedtest (313k download 75k upload . same as me.)

What can be the problem? If the firewall is not the problem . what is it?

thanks in advance if you can help

no, you can't change that, unless you have multiple public IP's and a higher end router….just use normal sharing, instead of that craptastic MSN

Re:don't transfer with msn…

it's probably a NAT issue where you are both on the same NAT
