Q: Yup, I can not seem to get just two days together.
I a fresh install of win2k bone, and can not seem to get HL working either.
I just typed in my cdkey, tells me that HL. exe is an error, Windows will shut down and that I should it.
No matter how many times I restart, it will not seem to work differently work.
Everything stable.
Any rock solid ideas guys?
I have:
BP6 BIOS
dual with the latest 366s @ 400 only
asus tnt-2 977 503 pro
intel pro100 cheap software modem
SB 64 ISA
Quantum AS HD
Asus 50x cdrom

Funny thing is that HL worked fine BEFORE the Bios flash/reinstallation of Win2k….

Re:what version drivers are you using? Try using nvidia's refrence drivers and try to use detonator 2 drivers such as beta version 5.32. You can go to a website like www.reactorcritical.com to get the drivers.
Look for Nvidia Windows 2000 drivers, version 5.32. (http://www.reactorcritical.com/download.shtml)
Plus, make sure you download the patch for half life too.
