Q: I have my Santa Cruz soundcard Dell software and accessories, and although the map on the website and advertise the full retail version, it came with just the card, CDs, instructions and “Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Dell document. It probably has all options as the full retail version, but all the CDs and the packaging looks like this card is mainly meant for a Dell. I have a good deal, so I do not give any thought they would send Dell specific sh1t, especially since they advertise the card with the box. Do you think it will work with my non-Dell system? You think I biatch return for a regular retail version?
Best Answer: Unless your building a low-end computer, then its not actually cheaper.
If you are building a mid-high range desktop, then yeah, its a lot cheaper.

Yeah call Dell. I ordered a retail box from them of a CDRW and it came just like it would from a BB or compusa. Give them a call.

Also sometimes OEM cards might be less feature filled than retail. If you got all the cd's, manual and the card…you got everything. The difference between OEM and Retail could be features of the card (like digital output and things like this). It's just a soundcard though? Why send it back?

Re:I would call Dell up and get the low down on what you bought. Find out if they sent you the right thing and if so, if it's Dell specific and so fourth. After you get all the facts, decide form there.
