Receive e-mails bounced back to me . although I do not send them [return address] [servers]

Q: Im not really sure where this post . but . I keep getting emails bounced back to me saying I sent them, but I do not. The emails seem to keep bouncing back from the same 2 or 3 . I guess someone my email address as their used to send e-mails. Is there anything I can do?

Re:Got 5 of them the first night the virus hit. I'm like… I didn't email any AOL users…

Just delete.

Re:Yep, it's just a virus spoof/gimmick. Beware.

Re:Ah. Thanks a lot for the replies guys. My system seemed to ALMOST have been infected the other day. Upon bootup, Norton immediately detected several outbound emails and infected files. Luckily, Norton didn't let any of the emails to be sent out. I don't know why it didn't catch the virus before. I updated my anti-virus, did a full virus scan, and everything seems to be alright.

Re:This also happened to me once last night.

Re:There is nothing you can do about it. Somebody who had your email address in their addressbook has been infected with the latest virus.

Re:its most likely that new virus spoofing your address. it will go away sooner or later.
