Q: Does Doom3 with the multiplayer? Anyone tried D3: ROE yet?
I only problems with HL2 – Some cards are great – but overall the game is a little too quickly and rather boring . dunno .
Re:ut2k4 is good and there are tons of mods for it.
personally, i am still playing and loving Wolfenstein Enemy Territory (and its free!!! what a deal!)
still a lot of servers, some switch up the maps but i go for the original six on a dependable well-run server (technolust) and i always have a good game.
Re:Yeah UT2004 is a great multiplayer FPS but probably too fast paced if you think HL2DM is.
Check out the thread laying around the Software forum for the game Savage. It fvckin rocks. It's not totally FPS so you can mellow out and play slower like leveling up, building things, etc instead of getting right in the action. Definitely check it out. This game is free also for the retail version since the company stopped caring about it.
Joint Operations is normally a blast too and not fast paced. It's up to you how you want to play. personally I take long rides away from everyone so I don't get shot up then lay low and snipe the hell outta everyone

Re:yeah i checked AA a while ago (before i had my new PC now and before i had broadband…lol:)…didnt like it TOO much..
But…i might wanna give it a try now again…lots has changed.
Also…maybe D3:ROE is not that bad..have to check that out too.
Re:CoD is great online Multilayer. Area 51 is a game coming out at the end of the month with what looks to be great Multilayer.
If you want something now that is easy and FREE, check out America's army. Don't be detered away by the free comment. The army got government money to pull together a game for recruiting and it is just online MP and its awesome.

Re:Yes, D3 has multiplayer, but it consists mainly of small indoor maps best suited for 4 people or less. Not sure how the new ROE expansion pack changes it, though.
My favorite MP FPS of the last couple years is Call of Duty and the United Offensive expansion.
