Remove Internet Explorer 7 Beta? [internet explorer 7] [battlefield 2 euro forces]

Q: I bought tonight and when I got to download the EA Downloader gives me an error. Ive noticed that this is caused by IE7 installed, so I need ot remove. So far I can not be a way around this piece of crap off my machine to find. I tried the Add / Remove Programs, Show Updates u003e no avail. Anyone know of a way to get this thing back out and IE6 without reinstalling Windows?

Thanks!

Re:Are you logged in as the user who initially performed the install? I've seen some reports that it can only be uninstalled as that user.

Though I wouldnt think that would cause it to not display on the list…

If all else fails I would do a post on the IE newsgroups; a fair number of the devs keep an eye on them and they may have suggestions.

Good luck

It would be in Add / Remove Progamns, Add / Remove Windows Components … it should be in there
Close but not quite, it's actually listed as a windows update.

add remove programs
check "show updates"
IE 7 Beta 2 Preview will be listed under Windows XP Software updates

It isn't there, like I indicated in my original post. I have Show updates checked and it isn't there.

Re:also if you have system restore active, force a restore point before installing anything beta.
