Q: Hey guys.
I have been looking into getting a good baseball game for the PC. Any recommendations?
Best Answer: my recommendation stick with your laptop if nothing is wrong with it I do not recommend an eMachines mine had an INTEL inside (god I hate intel, at least Celerons)
based on my experience, once I built my new computer I took a baseball bat to the emachines and smashed it to heck( caused me so much trouble lousy support, always got OS errors, never gave a good upgrade path)
Re:Well, I picked up MVP Baseball. It's pretty awesome, but I do agree that balls hit to the outfield generally result in too many stand-up doubles and triples. But good pickup nonetheless.

Re:I agree re: MVP. But you should know that it is much more difficult to win (compared to last year's version) and you're gonna need to fiddle with the default sliders……or accept just about every ball hit in the outfield going to the wall and a ton of inside the park HRs.
Re:Simulation still isn't great, but MVP Baseball 2004 is very playable overall. It's really the only PC baseball game remaining, not counting the management-only sims.

I've played the 2003 version for the PC, and found it to be pretty good for a PC baseball game.
