Since when has become a favorite on the Opteron X2? [dual core] [x2]

Q: The last week or two dual-core Opteron everyone recommend to people, why? Whats the big difference between this and the ? Why has it only been recently recommended its Opterons new or somthing?

Well the 165 is cheaper than the 3800, but I think it remains to be seen if the average 165 will overclock better than the 3800, not to mention the xtra challenges of working with a 9x multi..

yup. the 165 is less than $300, clocked 200 mhz slower than the $320ish 3800+ but has an extra 512kb per core.

definitely worth it.

Re:s939 opterons are new. And they overclock very well.

I want one… :heart:
