Q: I was with some screws network stuff, I think I just changed my cpu name and stuff, but I had to have had something.

If you changed the domain or something, click on the options button at Windows Login to see if you can select the old domain. Guessing not, but it's worth a try. Otherwise, I think your looking at a reboot since you can't get in as admin. In reality, assuming you have a backup of your data, ar reinstall of the OS might be faster then trying to figure out how to get around the login. It's not like Win98 where you could just cancel it. Our systems here cash the local password (or lack of). Change the domain/computer name and your not getting back in without the admin password.
Doesn't look real promissing.
Re:Snowdog, how did you ever install without putting an admin password in? It is part of set-up.
However if you did, maybe you are in luck. Log in as administrator, no password and hit enter.
Highly doubtful, but ya gotta try.
Also, did you ever rename the Default Admin to smoething else?
Final comment. Try posting this in Operating Systems. nMaybe others in there can help.

One more thing, I thought I could boot with the 98 boot disk but I couldn't change dirs to c:

it took it and change to c: under it, then it went back to a:
so can't do much, let me know if you know anything

Re:Can you log in as the administrator and fix the things you've changed? I see this a lot at the company I work for. The remote users will change the computer name or the domain and then shut down and can't get logged in. Since we don't just give out the Admin passwords to anyone, all the PC's come back in to get unlocked:). They usually only do this once…. Keyword being usually!
