Q: Hi all,
Ever since I installed the newest Nvidia drivers (Detonator 43.45), my monitor just in standby mode to all no matter what. I went into power options, and are still set to standby after 20 minutes, but it never works. I changed it for one minute just to check, and still no luck.
When I removed the drivers and went back to the old Nvidia, problem solved.
Anyone else know why this happens, or how to fix it?

Re:No problems here, using it at home w/LCD and at work w/CRT, both do standy without a problem.
I did reinstall the monitor drivers after the vid card drivers

Re:I had problems too the first time I installed them. Weird stuff would happen. But after I went to add/remove programs and uninstalled Nvidia then found the Nvidia Folder and deleted it. Then reinstalled, the new drivers and everything was fine.

Re:Check to see if it's redetected your monitor properly. If not you may have to reinstall the monitor driver
I always have to reinstall my LG monitor driver after every Nvidia driver update,so yes that`s worth checking.

Re:Nope, cant say I had any problems with it… Mind posting your specs? Just curious on what ya running that would cause a problem.
