Q: So I built a new computer not too long ago, here are the specs
3200
eVGA 6800 + winnie GT
74 gig raptor
and This Ram (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820220006)
So now I love bf 2 and with so many new games on the horiz as she searches will have two shows running at their full size Im looking to jump on the bandwagon 2 gig and was wondering if getting another 2 same ram sticks would be worth it. Basically how much of a preformance loss is from losing 1T (isnt that what happens when more than 2 sticks of ram) At this moment I am only a high school student, so I have limited resources and i really dont feel that selling this ram and get 2 gig sticks so what do you think would be worth the upgrade or would I be better off saving the money because they just get me a big enough boost prefomance because it is limited by the graphics in newer games. Sorry I know this has been asked many times but I would love your help.
Best Answer: No. That monitor is NOT capable of displaying 1080p.
1080p is 1920×1080 resolution. That monitor only goes as high as 1680×1050. That's a difference of more than 200,000 pixels.
Re:it wont make much of real life performance difference since memory controller is integreted on the cpu itself for us A64 folks…
u will see some difference in the synthetic tests.. but as i have said.. there will be almost no performance difference in real life…
so go for whichever u want..
Re:The difference will be noticable (most likely), but not enough to make you want to die. The added ram would help if it's needed, so you might as well. Or invest in 2×1gb sticks.

Re:AFAIK you will also have to run at DDR333 with 4 sticks since you have a Winchester.
