Re:VCDCutter the name says it all. I've used it a few times and it truly is a great program. It's more than a cutter it's a full MPEG1 player/editor. The player itself is worth the price. Forget the rest.
Re:MPG splitter? Easy… TMPGenc (http://www.tmpgenc.net). After installing, go to MPEG Tools –> Split and Merge. Easy and quick.
Re:Windows Movie Maker is built in to at least ME and XP. It lets you split video and save at what quality you want. Also lets you combine (thats what I use it for). I think it saves as wmv but you can still put that on cd.
Re:VirtualDub does a great job and it is very easy to use. Do a google for it………..it's free.
