I try to use 2 routers . [networking guru] [cable modem]

Q: Well I hope you can help me. I try 2 routers connect to my cable modem. I thought I was just the cable modem to connect to the WAN of router A and then A and connect a port to the WAN of the router B. It works! approximately 50% of time.
Am I missing something here? Im no network guru, but I hope there is a nice simple way to work.

Can not access http sites . HELP [cable modem] [sp2]

Q: One of my machines running XP, SP2 can not connect to a Web page http. I tried to figure out the problem, and I can only guess that port 80 is blocked by something. But I do not see where I can find where I can open the gate up.

This is a direct connection to a cable modem, router, so its no problem. I can connect to sites from another machine without a problem when connected to the same modem (after a reset), so it seems a Windows issue.

Office location has two ends – front and back end.

Front end encloses the server, a switch and patch panel – a dozen workstations – all internal IP addresses assigned statically, with the server to communicate fine – NIC NIC 1-2 switch with the WAN (cable modem) – 2nd nic left wide open

Home router that can automatically restart? [netgear mr814] [cable modem]

Q: If I large amounts of data, such as bittorent upload when I run for a while or when uploading large files from my ftp server, my internet connection dies. Im pretty sure the reason is that the cable modem is reset. When this happens, I (Netgear MR814) router reset to connect to the Internet to restore any / all PCs in the house.

Im not the only problem. A friend says he has the same problem. This reminds me that a kind of reset sent packing by Roadrunner to cut down on bittorrent
