Q: Just got a Linksys BEFSR41 for PC / Xbox to access my cable modem. How does the router divides the bandwidth? Half is reserved for each device, whether it is allocated as needed?

Q: We just had Road Runner installed on my work. The stupid boy system installed near our switch, thinking that a router. Our switch that is in a different room than our server, 18 ports, with about 15 are actually used. I tried connecting the modem to the switch, they do not want work.
We all of the computers have Internet access. Is there an easy way to do this with the setup I described? If the cable modem / jack was in the same room as the server, I was thinking I could just add another

Q: What the heck is going on. The title of my message is just about my problem. I have a home network with two computers and they are currently connected via a switch that connects to the cable modem. It is used to work fine, but now there is something wrong, I just can not seem to see the other computer via the network neighborhood. I can only find the computer and find the other one then. It is the same on both computers. Can anyone help me with this? What am I doing wrong?

Q: This is my setup . Dlink modem with an SMC7004VBR switch.
2 computers with XP to connect to the switch .
Im trying a file copy 6meg from one computer to another . to be fast right? nope . it is slow as dirt . takes about 1 minute per meg! what am I doing wrong? the NIC cards are both set to show that it is not about the Internet and back 100/full.

Q: Not sure if I have spyware or a virus or something, but I feel I can not log in to ebay or tigerdirects websites.
It night.
I started last checked at work today and I had not tried at home now and problem.
I same problems. But the only such sites. Both my desktop and laptop.
Any ideas what might be the problem?

Q: I have 6 computers behind a router on my cable modem. 5 of them are Windows XP and the latest Windows Server 2003. I recently decided to set up the machine as a 2K3 domain controller for Active Directory.
My motivation for doing this was so people could use the same username / password on each of the computers without the account to any computer .

Q: Modem works fine when directly connected to the terminal, but not through a splitter, even if nothing is connected to the second splitter is outlet.
The Regal DS2DGH10 5-1000MHz 120dB EMI Isolation 2 way splitter.
Outputs 3.5dB say. I tried it with a cheapo splitter at Frys also the same problem. And it is not because the cables connecting to cooperate directly with a both.
Any familiar with the reason why I would have this problem?

Q: Im a noob gamer looking for a military fps . was in Walmart the other day and some guy was playing Call of Duty . I had to say OMG! Did not know they could do well in those games .

Q: Have Dlink DI-704P router, my cable modem can easily do Roadrunner.
I April 1 or so steps like:
1) WAN port connect the cable modem DLink router
2) Ethernet adapter is connected to the back of my PC using of CAT5e cable, I have one of the four LAN ports on the DI-704p
3) The LED for the specific local Ethernet port light and gives a good connection
4) TCP / IP to set automatically
5) I can see my ip address from drop-down menu with winipcfg since using Windows98

Best Answer: It sounds like someone set up a redirect on your blog so that when your blog's URL is typed in it automatically switches to another location.
Contact your hosting company and tell them that no redirect should be done on your blog. Have them check for any 301 in your .htaccess file.
