Q: I have a laptop I got from a failure. Bom . got it cheap, it works fine, but it has an admin password and I cannot change settings. Any advice? Can I just pull the CMOS battery and start again? Its not the HD, are embedded in the device as far as I can tell . I pulled the HD and went into setup with F2 and are still there, so no HD password.
