Q: If I start on the first screen is “No” for both the primary master and primary slave. On the second (or maybe third screen), it lists the hard disk. It is a 40gig WD. The computer will boot into Windows 98 and I can read everything on the hard drive normally, but I can not install Windows 2k because it is not the hard disk. Assuming that I need the BIOS to detect and then Id be fine . any suggestions to get?

Q: I want to be able to drive a 160 GB IDE and placed in a box that converts it to an external FireWire drive. I know that these products are available, but the only one Ive found are large enough to 3.5 or 5.25 “drive to keep. I do not need a giant to a small hard disk to keep. Does anyone know a box smaller, made for a 3.5 “drive?

Q: hi:) 977 503 questions on the issue of smart disks, what it does and if it worth using? Also does the hard drive or slow down overall performance? Any info would be appreaciated

Best Answer: ok, you need to download your network drivers from the manufacturers website. install them and you should be able to connect to the internet.

Q: I am not fdisk and format, I want to know how to get rid of the data on a HD, so it cannot EVER be recovered. Im sure there are some software but i cannot seem to find.

Q: Hey everyone, Ive got a little problem with my computer. I just my crappy Abit KN9 SLI RMAed a few weeks ago and yesterday the new mobo. I have reinstalled, double checked everything and hooked it up. Heres the important part, I pushed the power button and the computer is on and everything lit up and spun. Q: What is the difference? Im going to reinstall WinXP, and I know it allows for a quick NTFS format and normal NTFS format. What is the difference, and that is it worth? Ive always the norm, not a benefit of using fast, other than speed?
